Give Hope, Save Lives!
Have you, or someone you know been touched by alcoholism or drug addiction? If so, then you understand why organizations such as the ALAMO Addiction Recovery Center are so critically needed in our community.
Addiction affects individuals of all ages, ethnic groups, educational levels and economic status. But affordable programs and resources to support recovery are often few and far between.
Right now we need your help to respond to the surge in need created by COVID-19. To those struggling to recover from addiction, the social isolation, lack of routine structure, boredom and continued availability of drugs and alcohol are all triggers for relapse.
Alamo's services are needed now more than ever, but our staff capacity and access to referral sources have been severely reduced by the current health crisis. Our residential census has decreased, resulting from reduced revenue.
Your financial gift will enable us to increase staff hours, develop alternative approaches to service delivery, and begin accepting residential placements again with new screening requirements in place to protect the safety of all involved.
Together, we give hope to those who desperately need it -- and ultimately save lives.
